Donate Books for Children in Need

Your donations of new and gently used books can help sick children at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Book donations can be dropped off at the Northville District Library or at the HKS Architects office in the historical Ford Valve Plant in Northville. The book drive runs from now until October 15th 2017.

Summer Discovery Cruises

Do you want to learn about the Great Lakes by being on the Great Lakes?  If so, check out the 2017 Summer Discovery Cruises (www.discoverycruises.org) season! 

For the 16th summer, UMich- Michigan Sea Grant Extension is offering educational cruises on the Great Lakes. There are more than 20 cruise themes to choose from, including Fisheries, Wildlife, Wetlands, Shipwrecks, Lighthouses, Weather, Shipping and more. Cruises depart from Lake Erie Metropark and Lake St. Clair Metropark and range from 2.5 hours to 4 hours on the water. Ages six and older are welcome.
