University of Michigan Alumni Association

About

Since 1990, the U of M Club of Greater Northville has been hosting alumni enrichment, social, athletic, career networking, and community service events and programs in communities throughout western Wayne and Oakland counties. Join us to connect with other local alumni and share your U of M pride!

Things we do include:

Keeping the U of M spirit alive with athletic and social events

  • Away game football viewing parties at the Northville Sports Den, where alums, family and friends can win door prizes and share Wolverine spirit
  • Tailgate parties for select home football games in Ann Arbor at the corner of Edgewood and Snyder
  • Social mixers and other celebratory events, including some specifically for younger alumni

Giving back with community service and student scholarships

  • Scholarships for incoming U of M freshman who reside within the club’s boundaries, with a portion of the money raised at an annual dinner featuring speakers such as Jack Harbaugh (2017), former U of M president Dr. Mary Sue Coleman (2015) and former U of M football coach Lloyd Carr (2014)
  • Financial support for the U of M Women’s Varsity Rowing team
  • Community service projects with local non-profit groups, such as the Matthaei Botanical Gardens and the Livonia YMCA

Accessing the best learning for life with alumni enrichment and career networking events

  • Tickets at discount prices to select U of M cultural events, including select Department of Musical Theater productions
  • Career networking and professional development workshops

Harnessing the power of the U of M community for a student sendoff reception

  • An annual Freshman Sendoff event welcoming local incoming freshmen to the U of M community and featuring food, prizes and fun
