Gary Clark, a Raleigh resident since 1992, is a 1983 graduate of Ferris State University and a lifelong Michigan Wolverine fan.  A Michigan football season ticket holder since 1999,  Gary joined the University of Michigan Alumni Association as an associate member in 2002.  A former Manager of U of M Sports Travel desk and Technical Sales Consultant with Sabre Holdings, Gary now works as a local Realtor with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry & Walston, serving the Triangle market and helping clients all over the US to find a Realtor.  An avid fly-fisherman and member of Trout Unlimited and American Forests,  Gary joined the M-TAC board as a Director in 2010.

Aaron Gerstman (UM Ross School of Business BBA 1977, MBA 1982) is a true Michigan Man having attended over 175 UM home games.  Recently moved to Raleigh with his wife Jill Perry (UM Ross MBA 1982).  Since graduation he first worked in corporate finance and for the last 20 years has held CFO/Controller positions with privately held companies.

Sean MacDonald was born in Rochester, MI but grew up in Lapeer, MI and graduated from Lapeer East High School in 1991. He then moved to Ann Arbor and studied English and graduated from Michigan in 1999 with a BGS. After moving to Charlotte, NC, he returned to school and graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2002 with a Masters degree in English. He spent more than a decade in Charlotte before moving to Durham in 2011. Since graduating, Sean has tutored and taught children of all ages and abilities. He currently teaches children with learning disabilities at The Fletcher Academy in Raleigh. He married Erin MacDonald in 2012 in Scotland and has been working to convert her to a Michigan fan ever since.

John Oldenburg, a native Michigander, enjoyed the beginning of the Bo Schembechler coaching era while spending eight years (1968-76) in Ann Arbor earning an undergraduate and master's degree in history followed by a law degree.  Finally forced to grow up a little bit, he trundled south and enjoyed a 36-year legal career in Memphis, Tennessee until his retirement.  His 2015 move to NC and to the Triangle in particular was a response to the draw of family, nuclear (a married daughter and a grandchild living in Raleigh) and extended (in-laws found in Greensboro and Winston-Salem).  The fact that his wife is a "Dukie" probably had something to do with it as well.

Meredith Schmidt graduated in 2005 from U of M's School of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and concentration in graphic design. Upon graduation she worked as a graphic design coordinator in Toledo, OH for ProMedica Health System. In 2008 she moved to North Carolina where she worked as a freelance video editor and designer for 4 years. Meredith now works as a Dynamic Media Designer for Capstrat and spends every weekend in the fall watching Wolverine and Lions football.

Peter Pickus earned his BGS from the UofM in 1989 and returned to earn his MBA in 1994. He’s since lived in Chicago, Little Rock, and Cary. He’s a dedicated Michigan fan and has served as president of the UofM Alumni Club in Chicago and here in the Triangle. Peter is currently a director for the Corporate Executive Board. He is a proud husband to Jennifer and dad to Alex (class of 2026) and Samuel (class of 2030) and the favorite week for the whole family is the week at Camp Michigania.

Mike Wilen grew up in St. Louis, Missouri before attending U of M during the Brady Hoke era where he graduated inDecember 14' with a degree in Psychology and minors in Business, the Environment and Scandinavian Studies. During his time at U of M, Mike assisted Psych department faculty researching decision processes and competitive behavior, was a member of the Chi Psi fraternity, worked as a head life guard at Ann Arbor Racquet Club and served as the Coca-Cola campus brand ambassador. Upon graduation, Mike moved to Raleigh to pursue a career as a commercial real estate broker at Phoenix Commercial Properties where he currently works with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers and investors to facilitate land, industrial, retail, and office transactions. Mike's favorite Big House memory is attending the first-ever night game against Notre Dame (9/10/11) as a Freshman. His favorite Michigan player of all-time is Denard Robinson aka "Shoelace".

Aleta Jordan was recruited for a clinical leadership position to Durham VA Medical Center in December, 2012.  She took a leap of faith and re-located to the area without knowing anyone!  She became acquainted with Michigan Triangle Area Club shortly upon her arrival.  Originally from the Detroit area, she spent the majority of her professional career working in leadership positions at the Detroit Medical Center, Henry Ford Health System, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, The University of Michigan Health System and her last position was with Trinity Health.   She also served on The University of Michigan School of Public Health Advisory Board. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics (75) and a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration (77) from the School of Public Health.  She also holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Wayne State University (92).

Ashley Jardina earned both her BA (’06) and her Ph.D. (’14) in Political Science from U of M. While she grew up in Virginia, Ashley now thinks of Ann Arbor as home.  Some of her favorite Michigan memories are from her time working for The Daily, training with the Michigan Taekwondo Club, and rushing the football field in the Big House after Michigan beat Ohio State (twice!). She moved to North Carolina in 2014, and is currently a Professor of Political Science at Duke University. She lives in Durham with her golden retriever named Maize.
