UofM Club Charity Golf Outing - Monday, May 22nd
The UofM Club of Grand Rapids is planning to reinstate its annual golf fund raiser this year at Kent Country Club on Monday, May 22nd. Funds raised will go toward our Grand Rapids Scholarship fund. The purpose of the fund is to help provide financial support to local area students, that have been accepted to the University of Michigan, based on a combination merit and need.

Michigan Wooden Pallet Sign Making Event

Join the U of M Club GR for a fun evening of crafts, making a maize and blue themed Michigan Home Pallet sign. Everyone will make and take home a custom wooden sign and a personalized drink ware of your choice during the workshop. Guests can choose from gray or white as well for the color of the the "home" lettering. All the supplies will be provide and the staff at Ampersand Workshops will guide us through each step the crafts! Snacks and wine provided. Event starts at 5:30pm with crafts beginning promptly at 6:00pm.

Use the password UMClub to access that registration. There is no charge for the drinkware registration.

U of M Pasta Making Class & Appetizers

Come join fellow alumni in a pasta making class at Local Epicurean. The event will include a social hour with wine and beer provided by the alumni club. Each ticket will include an appetizer buffet with shrimp cocktail, chicken lettuce wraps, beef short rib rolls, smoked salmon & hand made chocolate truffles. Then, participants will learn how to make hand-made ravioli, colored blue and gold. Participants will get to take home their pasta creations. Come out and enjoy a night of creativity with this unique event!

Community Service Event Saturday May 20th
Come join your fellow Wolverine alums in supporting a deserving organization serving an important need in our community. We will gather at the Children's Healing Center (1530 Fulton St., Grand Rapids) on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. to participate in the annual Michigan Alumni Community Service Day sponsored by the Alumni Association.
We will complete some light to moderate outdoor work, including weeding, raking, cleaning up the grounds, washing windows, bringing out patio furniture, etc. Please click here to sign up. (Note: If you are signing up any family or friends to volunteer with you, please complete the form for each volunteer). Dress in attire that is appropriate for doing outdoor work. Wear a UofM T-shirt or hat and remember to wear closed toed shoes. If you are able to bring yard tools (e.g. for weeding, trimming, or raking), that would be appreciated. Water will be provided to volunteers.

The U of M Club of Grand Rapids is part of a network of regional clubs within the United States that are affiliated with the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan. Alumni who are paid members of the Alumni Association are automatically a member of the U of M Club of Grand Rapids, with no additional dues.
The dues paid by Alumni Association members help provide the U of M Club of Grand Rapids with the financial resources, communication tools and support that local club volunteer alumni need to host club events.
